What Does it Mean?

I'm not in the best of shape. I'm lumpy; I want to change that. I want to lose 100 pounds. It might be a bit much, but I'm going to try this in 100 days.
I think I've passed this mark. Going for March as my goal, now.

Food

10:30am - Chicken Sandwich on country kitchen canadian white bread with miracle whip.
Side - olde cape cod sour cream and onion chips (crumbs)

Snack - Zero Carb Rockstar

4:30pm - Italian sub with the works, hots, and light mayo
Drink - Thunder Moxie energy drink

6:30pm - 1/2 of a cheeseburger. Corn on the cob
Drink - Green Tea

9:00pm - Applesauce for medicine.

Weigh In

Lost .02 pounds so, nothing big. But the good news is I didn't gain any weight.
It's hot out today, might go in the pool later this afternoon. Grocery shopping day has been postponed until tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure why.

Anyway, it's my 5th anniversary of being together with my boyfriend. That's counting when we were talking online and stuff.

Plans for tonight have also been postponed. We're going to go see Bad Teacher Sunday afternoon.

2 more days

Tomorrow is the last day before I start my countdown of 100 pounds in 100 days.
Decided we're not going to go to the movies until Sunday. Probably during the afternoon so we don't miss the town fireworks.
This decision was made based on the fact that my mother took out hamburger to thaw and I think we're having that for dinner tomorrow. I've been wanting that for a week so, I want to stay home for dinner.

Today's breakdown:

Breakfast/Lunch (ate around noon)- Ham, cheese, salami sandwich on Country Kitchen Canadian White bread with miracle whip.
Drink- Half bottle of green tea with citrus
Side- applesauce with medicine

Snack -Rockstar zero carb

Dinner- Ribs with ah-so red sauce, yellow rice, applesauce with medicine

Now, watching valkyrie eating a small bag of sour cream and onion chips. I have 2 clementines (in case boyfriend wants one) and a zero carb rockstar.

2 pounds


Lost 2 pounds since yesterday.

Tomorrow is my anniversary with my boyfriend. We're going to go to the movies and see bad teacher. Our theater serves dinner so we'll be eating while watching a movie. I usually get a buffalo chicken wrap with waffle fries. I don't think I can substitute the fries, so I'll be sharing those with my boyfriend. As for the wrap, I'll eat one half at the start of the movie and eat the other at the end, probably.

Friday starts the countdown for 100 pounds in 100 days.

Today

Breakfast- Ham, cheese, salami sandwich on honey wheat with miracle whip.
Lipton Green Tea with Citrus for drink
A snack size bag of sour cream and onion chips

Lunch- Tuna sandwich. Apple Sauce for medicine. Monster for drink.

Dinner- Barbeque chicken with suddenly salad pasta salad (oil kind), Monster for drink.

Snack - Applesauce for medicine.

Exercise - Walked the mall for a bit. Played ball outside but stopped because my head started hurting and I was sort of dizzy.

Tonight

Lunch was a chicken sandwich on serian bread with miracle whip and onions.

Had a monster absolutely zero.

Went to walmart and got subway for dinner. Took it home and ate it about an hour later. Had some monster lo-carb because walmart didn't have any boxes of absolutely zero. Had 1/4 of a cup ramen.

Not feeling well. Have a headache so I took some medicine. I might take a bit more. Currently drinking water, still have monster to finish.

Pool

Ran around in the pool for an hour. I'm so disoriented I can't type correctly. ugga bugga.

Did 10 laps around the pool not counting the various laps spent picking bugs out of the water.

Gonna do it again tomorrow.

Dinner

Last night's dinner was a leftover grilled chicken sub on a wrap with feta cheese and onions. I don't know the specifics because it was my mom's.

Today my boyfriend got called into work early but he's going to try and come home early so we can go swimming finally. Yesterday I wanted to but he played left 4 dead 2 instead. Spent the hour before he had to leave for work battling his own teammates rather than just leaving the game and playing in a different lobby. I was mad because I didn't get to play at all.

So, today, hoping to go swimming this afternoon if the weather stays nice and it's still hot out. It's gonna be like 80 today.

Haven't weighed myself today.

Ate

Today, I ate that hershey bar I had bought yesterday before the wedding. We forgot it at home with the cans we were going to bring to the movie.

A little bit later, had a sandwich on honey wheat bread with a bit of mayo, a piece of cheese, two pieces of ham, a piece of turkey bologna, and a piece of salami with onions and lettuce.

I had a bowl of applesauce on the side with my medicine and about a handfull of chips.

Around 3 or 4 I had a monster absolutely zero.

Not sure what's for dinner, yet.

Gained a pound

But at least it wasn't two. I think I'll be able to lose that easily considering the weird cheese from the wedding is now making itself known.

I'll probably do 45 minutes of wii fit or something again. I think my brother is getting the treadmill today, so after he gets it I'll probably do about 45 minutes on wii fit and 1 to 2 hours on the treadmill. He just has to teach me how to use his mac as a TV so I can distract myself from the exercise. Alternatively, I can just bring down my laptop and watch stuff on that.

So, went to Boston to watch Serenity at midnight. It actually started 20 minutes later than we had thought because it was a big event where people were winning stuff. Someone won an autograph from Nathan Fillion!

We won nothing because it was a food drive raffle, you had to have brought something; we forgot all our cans at home.

To make it through the movie, I had a 99 cent bag of smart food popcorn and a monster. Definitely helped because I was fine the whole movie, except my level of comfort. I had been sitting like all day at the wedding, I had to put my feet up in the empty seat in front of me to stretch out.

Didn't get home until 4am, did some last minute stuff (i.e. making sure the door is locked and taking all the wedding clothes my boyfriend threw on my desk and putting it on my computer chair), and then laid down and immediately fell asleep. I woke up at 9:30am but I was like "meeeeeeeeeeh. Don't wanna get up yet" so I went back to sleep and woke up at 10:30am, did some business, weighed myself, and then wrote this.

Home

Came home early from the wedding because at Midnight, my brother and his friend are taking me and my boyfriend to Boston to go watch Serenity. Which means we'll be home around 3am. I'm super tired, I might fall asleep mid movie but I have a hershey's cookie's n' cream bar waiting for me and I'll be bringing a monster.

At the wedding I didn't eat too much but I did have a lot of the weird cheese they had. I regret having that cheese because now I feel sick. Maybe it's for the best. For dinner I had a piece of roast, a scoop of mashed potatoes, salad, and two pieces of ravioli in some neat stripey pasta.

I think tomorrow is supposed to be nice during the afternoon so maybe we can go swimming.

Wedding

Had subway for brunch.

6 inch Cold Cut on hearty italian (I'll look into substitute breads) with provolone cheese toasted topped with light mayo, banana peppers, lettuce, onions, and hot relish. Had half a bowl of broccoli and cheese soup and brought the rest home to have later.

Going to a wedding soon for my cousin. I probably won't eat a whole lot. I couldn't believe how full I got off the 6 inch today. I'll probably start getting those instead of footlongs. (Y'know, til we get the free ones).

Oh, got on wii fit this morning and had lost .2 lbs though my bathroom scale said I had lost a pound. I'll go with the bathroom scale. The Wii might be off because I had been wearing a heavy coat and jeans when I went on the wii fit and when I weighed on the bathroom scale, I was stepping in for a shower. :P

Evening

Been shaking my foot since dinner. Keeping myself in motion while not being in motion. Finally caught all of the alphabet unown. Now I have to get a water stone and ho oh so I can get the last two (! + ?).

Dinner was a piece of chicken breast, breaded in shake in bake or panko bread crumbs. One of those. A bowl of applesauce for my medicine (because I can't swallow), a scoop of instant mashed potatoes, and a bowl of salad with some feta and italian dressing. (the kind you make yourself).

Followed that up about three hours later with a mixed bowl of special k crackers (about half a serving) and four cheese cheezits (one serving). I realized that cheezits aren't so bad as far as calories and sugar go (what I mainly have to look out for).

Topped that off with a clementine and diet green tea with citrus.

I'm putting this up for reference

During my journey to lose 100 pounds, I will be trying on my goal shirt for reference. (It'll also help my boyfriend answer the questions "Do I look skinnier?")

Update

Logged 45 minutes on wii fit for training today. Proud of what I did today.
All together I did
  • 2 rounds of expert rhythm boxing. So about 26 minutes on that.
  • Finally tackled advanced step. Did okay except about half the time my mother had music playing during it. Not easy keeping rhythm to something you can't hear.
  • Took on the super hoola hoop game and did pretty well. I placed, I was happy.
  • Tackled the tight rope and finally made it!
  • Did the bridge in Yoga along with the body twist and jack knife that was recommended to pair up.
I might do a bit more tonight depending on if I can catch all the unown at the ruins of alph. Amazing what motivation I get from not being able to find a pokemon!

It'll help me keep track of my weight loss progress. I'll probably start tagging it at the bottom of every one of my blog posts.

This isn't 100 pounds in 100 days though. This is for me being 150 pounds by the first day of Fall.

Lost a pound

Today I lost a pound from yesterday.

For breakfast, I had water and a sandwich on whole wheat bread with honey. A small amount of miracle whip (Which has less calories than real mayo, I found out), a slice of turkey bologna, 2 slices of salami (They wouldn't split apart), a piece of ham, and 2 pieces of cheese (that also wouldn't split apart. It was the end piece with the round edges). Topped it with lettuce. Didn't finish all of it. Most of it. I gave about 1/10th of it to the dog (Y'know, like crusts).

For lunch, I had Special K Cracker chips. Not sure how many but probably around 1 serving. Also about a handful of cheez-its because my boyfriend is evil and bought the 4 cheese kind that are super delicious! I didn't have too many, though. (He did cut me off from them). Had a monster absolutely zero with that.

Not sure what is for dinner, yet.

Started today off with about 15 minutes of aerobics doing the rhythm boxing exercise on wii fit. I might do some more later when I ultimately get bored. I got 4/4 stars on it. I was happy! I'll try to fill all 10 positions with 4 stars.

Currently have about 2,000 steps logged on my pokewalker.

I'll update again tonight after dinner.

Grocery Day

Thursday is grocery day. Though, today's grocery day was a little different because we had both of my cousins with us instead of just one.

Started the day off with about a handful of eggs cooked by mom. Like, I had a palm-full of eggs. Followed that up about 2 hours later with a mcdonald's chicken nugget happy meal. Bad, I know, but I had no choice. I was looking forward to salad from papa gino's.

Stopped by walmart to bring back my swimsuit bottoms that don't fit ( ; 3; ) and got a new pair for 2 dollars cheaper. Got some green tea for mornings and a haircut that I've been desperately needing.

Drank a monster afterwards.

Went to Market Basket afterwards. Got some fresh veggies and fruit. :)

Currently have 4k steps logged on my pokewalker.

Weighed in on the wii fit this morning, gained 2 pounds but that could have changed. I'll do another weigh in tonight.

Dinner and a Snack

Dinner was spaghetti like I had asked for. I had a small bowl with meat sauce (only a bit of meat that came off of meatballs), about a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese on top and a bit of parmigiana sprinkle cheese on top of that. I had a side of applesauce which I have every day twice a day for my medicine. (I can't swallow pills).
I washed it all down with a small glass of milk.

For snack, I'm having more applesauce with my medicine in it, a bottle of water, a clementine and a small snack size bag of cheetos.

Lunch

Didn't end up eating until around 2 or so. Had an Italian sub with light mayo, the works, and hots with Moxie's Thunder energy drink. Watched Excel Saga with the boyfriend and currently drinking a follow up Absolutely Zero.

In case I didn't cover it in the previous post, I don't plan on really eating meat more than once a day. The sandwich sort of covers today's meat consumption.
Hoping tonight we'll have spaghetti for dinner. I honestly don't always have a say on what's for dinner since my mom makes it.

Thursday is grocery day, the day I go grocery shopping with my mom, my cousin, and my grandmother. I hope to buy plenty of fresh fruit and veggies to snack on during the day and maybe get some rice to make stir fry for lunch!

Here's a little introduction about me and what I'm aiming to do with this blog.

I'm 20 years old. I have a lot of time on my hands and I mostly spend that time playing Pokemon but, at least half an hour a day, I would like to dedicate my time to exercising and becoming thinner and ultimately healthier.

I'm currently fighting against diabetes. But according to my last tests, I'm doing good with that as long as I keep up at least 20 minutes of exercising or walking and eating better.

As for my diet, I've cut out sweets and snacks almost completely. I mean, I never had much for snacks in the past but I did have chips. From now on, though, my snacks are going to be vegetables and fruits or yogurt. Lunch, I'll probably have salads with chicken or Sandwiches, with no mayo or light mayo.

I've cut soda out of my diet and the only caffeine I get at all is from Monster's Absolutely Zero energy drink or other similar zero cal/zero sugar drinks. I've been drinking a lot of water, clear choice sparkling white grape water, and 2% milk but I'll probably stop drinking milk or cut it down to one or two glasses a week because it gives me an upset stomach sometimes and apparently has a lot of calories per cup.

I want to slim down my 40+ waist size to under 30". It'd be nice to fit in my boyfriend's pair of pants for fun.

For exercise, I usually go out and walk for a long time at the mall. Yesterday I did around 8k steps because the up escalator on one side was broken so when my boyfriend and I went over there to get coffee and look at stuff in FYE, we had to walk back and go around since the mall doesn't have a staircase at the moment. (Undergoing construction).


Video Games
Sometimes when I'm sitting on my bed playing Pokemon, I'll do situps and leg extensions. I also play wii fit for a little bit. Mostly doing the basic step attempting to get perfect scores. I would like another xbox to hook my kinect up to so I can play it downstairs without having to drag everything from my room to the living room and then bringing it all back up when my friends want to play left 4 dead 2. Though, in the small space I have, I used to do the skinny jeans workout on Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. I might go back to doing that again since the other workouts I don't have enough room to do.

That's all I have to say for now, I guess. I'm getting a bit hungry so I'm going to go snack on a clementine.
